Presentation at ESC Congress 2017
Ai Mediq S.A. has attended the ESC Congress 2017, that was hosted from 26th till 30th of August 2017 in Barcelona Spain. This year the congress spotlight was “40 years of PCI” to stipulate the impact of Percutaneous Coronary Interventions have had on all aspects of cardiovascular care.
During this anniversary event a special report on pilot study named “Intermittent hypoxia-ˇhyperoxic training (IHHT) as a new method of cardioprotection during coronary artery bypass surgery” was presented by group of Russian cardiologists. The results of the pilot trial suggest that short-term application of ReOxy device prior major cardiac surgeries has potential to improve the outcomes and reduce the rate of complications.
